Driver Terms

Last updated: 2026-10-01

Who these terms are for

These terms apply to independent drivers who sign up in the NemiRoute Driver app to take delivery jobs from the NemiRoute network ("network drivers"). Drivers invited by a courier company use the app under their agreement with that company; for them only the sections on the app, location, data and account deletion apply.

They are between you and NemiRoute ("we"). Accepting them in the app (version 2026-10-01) is required before your application is reviewed.

Independent contractor

You are an independent contractor, not an employee of NemiRoute or of the courier companies whose jobs you take. You decide when you are online, which offers you accept and how you plan your route, and you supply your own vehicle, phone and data plan.

You are responsible for your own taxes, licences, vehicle registration and insurance that covers commercial delivery, and for keeping the documents in your profile valid.

Eligibility and checks

You must be at least 18, hold a valid driver licence for your vehicle and be allowed to work where you deliver. With your consent we run a criminal record and driving history check before approving you and may repeat it. We may refuse or suspend an account whose documents are expired, false or fail a check, and we tell you why.

Jobs and offers

Offers show the pickup, delivery area and pay before you accept. Once you accept a job you agree to pick it up and deliver it with care, follow the delivery instructions and record proof of delivery (photo, signature or both) as the job requires. If you cannot finish a job, hand it back in the app as early as possible.

Pay

The pay for a job is shown before you accept it. Earnings are paid weekly to the payout account you connect through Stripe, our payment provider, after deducting any cash on delivery you collected and did not hand in. Your weekly statement lists every job, adjustment and deduction; you can dispute a line from the statement in the app.

Cash on delivery

When a job asks you to collect cash, record the amount in the app. The cash belongs to the courier company until it is handed in or settled from your next payout.

Location while you work

The app shares your location while you are on shift, online for offers or carrying an order, so dispatch and the recipient can follow the delivery and the app can confirm you are at each stop. It stops when you go offline, end your shift or finish your last delivery. The Privacy Policy explains what is collected and for how long.

Conduct and messages

Treat recipients, company staff and other drivers with respect. Do not use the app to harass anyone, share unlawful content or misuse customer information. Company drivers can report a message from dispatch in Messages in the app; we review reports and may suspend accounts that break these rules.

Suspension and ending

You can stop using the network at any time and delete your account in the app (Profile → Delete my account) or as described on the account deletion page. We may suspend or end your access for safety, fraud, expired documents or serious or repeated breach of these terms, and we tell you why. Earnings for completed jobs are still paid.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect loss, and our total liability to you is limited to the earnings paid to you in the 3 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the law where you live that cannot be limited.

Changes

When we change these terms we publish a new version here and ask you to accept it in the app before you take new jobs.
